60 Days of Insanity: Week 3

Plyometric Cardio Circuit
Cardio Power & Resistance
Cardio Recovery
Pure Cardio

There is so much to love about Insanity. The workouts are shorter than the P90X workouts and don’t require any equipment. There are plenty of strength training moves in Insanity – but it’s all body weight and gravity providing the resistance. Shaun T is so good about moving from one exercise to the next with a minimum of talking or demonstration. In fact, it’s so fast paced, I can’t really anticipate which exercise comes next, even though I’ve been doing the same four DVDs for three weeks now.

P90X Results & Recovery drink

I continue to eat a vegan diet, though I’m trying to reduce my use of oils and fats. My body fat seems to keep hovering around 38-40%, so I’m hoping that cutting down (and eventually out) the oil, I’ll reduce my body fat more quickly. I’m definitely nervous about the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday as I will be spending it with my family. I haven’t decided if I am going to “cheat” and have turkey and all the non-vegan sides, or if I will prepare some vegan dishes to share, and stick to those. I’ve been very good about drinking 2-3 liters of water everyday.
