P90X: Day 17

It feels pretty amazing to see so many improvements. I picked up heavier weights for almost every exercise today. I still struggle a bit with the seated shoulder flies, but everything else is pretty easy to do correctly.

I’ve even noticed some improvements on Ab Ripper X. I can do more reps of several of the moves and I even did 2 real Crunchy Frogs today. I still can’t do a single Wide-Leg Sit Up or V-Up/Roll Up Combo because I just don’t have the ab strength to get my back off the floor yet. I do regular crunches as a substitute hoping that I’ll do something positive and build up to being able to do all the exercises.

My appetite has been light recently. All I’ve eaten today is my morning smoothie and a whole wheat fruit bar. I will likely have a salad before I leave for work this afternoon. I’ve been toying with the idea of making falafel tonight for dinner, maybe with a little tahini sauce. I had a glass of wine with dinner last night, and it didn’t seem to affect my performance today. I’ve also been drinking a lot more water these days.
