Cardio X, Legs & Back with Ab Ripper X
Like most women, my legs are the strongest muscle group in my body. I love this DVD, mostly because I feel confident that I can do all the lower body exercises with good form and lots of reps. I still cannot do the pull ups and chin ups for the back portion of this workout, but since I was by myself today, I got on the chin up bar and did my best to pull myself up. Hopefully by the end of P90X, I’ll be able to do at least one, unassisted pull up.
The Cardio X workout is a nice warm up – it definitely gets the heart rate up. However, after the intensity of Plyometrics, Cardio X just doesn’t seem all that extreme. Granted, there are a few moves that I struggle with and cannot do without serious modification. But, if I really wanted to push it, I know popping in Plyometrics would be the way to go.
My appetite continues to be light and I’m focusing on eating more vegetarian meals. My favorite snack these days is hummus with carrot and celery sticks. I still have my latte almost every day. I love the taste of coffee and don’t think that I’ll ever want to give up my daily latte.
