Shoulders & Arms with Ab Ripper X
Whew! Today was a lot of fun working on my arms, especially my triceps and the endless push ups. But, I really want to talk about something else.
I’m in my third and final year of an Automotive Technology program at De Anza College in Cupertino, CA. My first day back to school was yesterday and I wanted to describe my typical day, Tuesday through Friday.

5:10A – Get dressed, fix hair
5:20A – Go downstairs, make Shakeology smoothie for breakfast

12:10P – Class ends, punch out

12:45P – Change into workout clothes, put on running shoes, grab phone and head out to the park to run

9:30P – Get ready for the next day, prepare to-do list
10:00P – Go to bed
Although my day is busy, I’m still managing to fit in physical activity. It can be done – you just need to love yourself enough to commit to it and disciplined enough to follow through.
To give you an idea of what I ate today:
Shakeology smoothie (Shakeology, 1 banana, 1 cup of unsweetened almond milk and ice)
3+ liters of water
1 large cup of green tea (venti at Starbucks)
1 Chicken fajita (whole grain tortilla, 3oz. chicken, salsa, grilled peppers and onions, lime juice)
Lemon chicken and broccoli for dinner.
I was full! Plus, I managed to get through my day without added sugar or fat. It is possible, it just requires mindfulness and planning. If I can do this, anyone can!
